Marte! è una breve panoramica sul rapporto che ha legato i terrestri ai marziani, nella scienza e nell'immaginazione, fra il 19° ed il 21° secolo, con enfasi particolare sulla natura avventurosa della questione (si tratta, dopotutto, di un Agile Volumetto Lemuriano).
Il campionario di citazioni e di titoli, di fatti e fattoidi, si accompagna a due appendici, una per i cacciatori di libri sulle bancarelle, ed una sulla spaventosa Maledizione del Pianeta Rosso.
Il volumino raggiunge a malapena le 9000 parole, e si presta ad una lettura rapida.
